Plus de 100 célébrités et alliés LGBTQ+ qui ont critiqué ICE – Démocrates, prenez note

Plusieurs célébrités sont descendues dans la rue et/ou ont utilisé leurs réseaux sociaux pour déclarer leur opposition à l'ICE, et au DHS en général, alors que les tensions atteignent un nouveau sommet après le meurtre de Renee Nicole Good – une citoyenne américaine non armée qui a été abattue par un agent de l'ICE à Minneapolis – et d'Alex Pretti, une infirmière qui a été tuée par balle le week-end dernier par des agents de la patrouille frontalière à Minneapolis.

La déception générale à l’égard des représentants du Parti démocrate continue également de s’intensifier. « Pour les dirigeants démocrates, le choix ne consiste plus seulement à garder les lumières allumées. Il s'agit de reconnaître un moment rare d'alignement entre nécessité morale et pragmatisme intransigeant », écrit Logan McMillen pour La Colline.

Alors que l’establishment démocrate continue d’évaluer comment réagir aux raids de l’ICE qui ont été approuvés, financés et encouragés par l’administration Trump, ce sont des célébrités – en particulier celles de la communauté LGBTQ+ et leurs alliés bien connus – qui ont mené la charge en dénonçant ces actions et en ne gardant plus le silence sur la question.
